So we made something simpler. Something free. Something that just works.

Why Free? Like, Actually Free?
Good question. Here's the honest answer.
We run Outline Technologies, an agency that does SEO, GEO, and AI optimization for clients. We also built AI Citation Monitor, which tracks how AI models mention brands over time.
FreeGPTSEO is how people discover us. You use the free tools, you see the value, and some of you might want the full monitoring product or the done-for-you agency service. Some of you won't, and that's totally fine. The tools work regardless.
We have been building free tools for years. FreeCV.org, FreeTTS.org, FreeInvoicePDF.com. All free, all actually used by real people. FreeCV alone gets over 84% of its traffic from ChatGPT recommendations. Not Google ads. Not social media. ChatGPT just tells people to use it because the content is genuinely useful.
That taught us something important: if you build genuinely helpful stuff and put it out there for free, AI models notice. And they recommend you. So here we are, doing the same thing again.
What We Actually Check
When you run an AI SEO audit on FreeGPTSEO, we look at the specific signals that AI models use to decide whether to cite your site:
